Bruce MacDonald on passion professionalism and knowledge
“I have been a student of all New Zealand arboricultural training providers including Otago Polytechnic, WINTEC, HITO and a couple of offshore providers too. For me, the point of difference is the professionalism, passion and knowledge delivery skills that Thoughtplanters brings to the student. The training material is excellent in both content, structure and format. The pedigree of Thoughtplanters education staff is the best I have encountered. Thank you for a reputable qualification”

Kent Thwaites on Johno Smith after running his first FCA (manager to trainer feedback)
Great job bro, you have nothing to worry about and heaps to offer.
We are all proud of the attendance and completion rate for these courses, the YTS [Youth Transition Services] officials are stoked and surprised!
Like Andy said, for some of the trainees this is the most committed they've been to any type of training. Says a lot about you as trainers.
Joe, Johno and Andy - thanks heaps for your flexibility and credibility. It's a pleasure working with you all, and Johno thanks for coming up north to sit in and assist Joe when needed over the past 6 months. He's set you up well and you've run with it.
After a years worth of courses, we've now put quite a few people into arb work places with continued good feed back from the employers. We now are getting trainees expressing interest in heading down the landscape and viticulture paths- they'll be good too.

Andy Nevernam on Johno Smith (trainer to trainer feedback)
I have done a few days the last 2 weeks with Johno and I would like you all to know that he is doing an excellent job. The young Westie boys can be a testing bunch at times and Johno has copped with this well in delivering the course and keeping them focused enough to complete the unit assessments and complete the FCA course. For some of these boys its the first academic certificate they have ever achieved and are looking forward to their graduation ceremony today, which Johno will do with the YTS staff. Johno has also arranged to give them all a hat (not sure if its TP or CE) to wear sideways around West Auckland...
Well done Johno – excellent representation of thoughtplanters and I look forward to training with you more
